Yoav Fisher, Head of Digital Health Innovation for HealthIL
HealthIL is a non-profit organization, backed by the Ministry of Economy and Digital Israel, that focuses on needs-based integration and adoption of Digital Health solutions into health organizations and stakeholders in Israel and across the globe.
Prior to HealhtIL, Yoav worked as an Associate with Triventures, one of the leading health-focused VCs in Israel, with offices in the Bay Area as well.
He has been working in the startup ecosystem for over 7 years and holds and MA in Economics from Tel Aviv University.
Sam Cronin, Healthcare Innovation Manager, UK Tech Hub, British Embassy Israel
Sam leads the healthcare activities at the UK Israel Tech Hub, working with multinationals and the NHS on their innovation needs and building strategic partnerships between Israel and the UK. Sam has a multidisciplinary scientific background, across pharmacology, biosensing devices, and biotechnology, from the University of Leeds and Ben-Gurion University. Prior to his PhD he conducted financial forensic investigations in the City of London. Sam is a guest lecturer at Ben-Gurion University
Aimee Fisher, VP of Strategy and Business Intelligence, aMoon
Aimee has 20 years of wide-ranging experience in traditional high tech and health care companies large and small in Silicon Valley, leading product management and development, marketing, investor relations, and research.
Drawn in by the allure of combining technical know-how with improving healthcare, Aimee joined Kaiser Permanente as a part of the nascent Innovation and Advanced Technology team. There, she developed the national telehealth program concept and strategy and participated in the assessment and management of hundreds of technologies and pilots.
Graduating telehealth out of innovation and into operations, Aimee oversaw the product management and development of the telehealth and digital health platforms that enable Kaiser’s 12 million members and 50,000 clinicians to connect digitally. Most recently, Aimee served as the VP of Business Development at Sanara Ventures, where she both expanded the portfolio’s investment purview and worked with the portfolio companies to position them for success in the healthcare market, inside and outside of Israel.
Aimee holds a BA from Smith College and completed a post-graduate Fellowship in Yiddish Language and Literature.
Gali Halpern Wienerman ,Principal, HealthTech Lead – Accenture Ventures
Gali joined Accenture Ventures in in January of 2019 after founding and managing the first MedTech Accelerator for early stage Health Technology startups in Israel. Gali’s background includes management and go-to-market positions in various industries ranging from Communications through Non-Profit Arts and finally Medical Devices and Digital Health. Gali holds a Msc. From Boston University and a BA from Tel Aviv University school of management.
